The new collection of Alex and Ani Liberty Copper collection was going to be featured in some upcoming gift guides (for the C word) but after hearing the meaning behind the collection and seeing it in person I couldn’t not feature it in an article of its own.
This is not and ad by any means. I just really love the new collection and the meaning behind it. It’s all about positivity and opportunity which I know a lot of you will love.
The Alex and Ani Liberty Copper collection features copper from the torch from the Statue of Liberty! The torch was recently refurbished and Alex and Ani bought the copper for their jewellery. I can’t stop thinking of the history in each piece and it makes the new collection really unique. I genuinely think this is a lovely gift especially anyone into history or anyone that loves America.
Now the meaning behind the jewellery is what really got me. The card that comes with the jewellery says: ‘The Statue of Liberty inspires all to believe in limitless opportunity. She raises the torch to light the way for others, but her real light illuminates from within. Bearing her torch, we to brighten the world. We are Lady Liberty’s movement of light and hope. When we carry light, we ignite the light in others, and create one light indivisible.’
As you all know, I’m a huge advocate for mental health. I know what it’s like to be in a dark place so I think this jewellery will remind us of the light we have within us even if we can’t see it. It reminds us to be hopeful of opportunities to come.
I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of the collection in The Kilkenny Shop last week. It was such a fun event full of American food, singers, creativity and chats. The collection is very unique so if you like to be different you’ll love this collection.
The girls in The Kilkenny Shop explained that they have a limited amount of pieces obviously because there’s only a certain amount of copper from the torch of The Statue of Liberty to go round.
The price of the new collection starts at €49 which I think is very reasonable considering it’s such a unique piece of history. This is my kind of jewellery so I liked it all. I especially love the ring because it’s such a unique shape so I’m hoping to get my hands on one before they sell out.
I was kindly given a lovely gift bag. Inside was the Carry Light Kindred Cord bracelet pictured below. Each piece comes with a card confirming the authenticity of the copper. I also got some American candy (Hershey’s which didn’t make it to the picture) and a quote book called “Don’t Worry Be Happy”. It’s one of the nicest gifts I’ve ever received. It’s all very me.
If like me you sometimes need reminding of the light you have within then a piece from this collection will be a lovely reminder of that because sometimes we do need remember this, So as they say, “treat yo’self”! Or put it on your Christmas list so someone else can treat you haha. I’ll leave you with some more pictures of the collection but if you’ve any questions comment below.
Prices Start At €49
