Beauty hits & misses are my favourite posts to read and videos to watch. I think it’s always interesting to compare the products you love and the products that didn’t work for you with others. I hope you enjoy reading my April beauty hits & misses!
Hey Bloggers and Non Bloggers and welcome to the Midweek BeYOUty Bonanza: Beauty & Fashion Blogger Linkup Party Week 3!
Thank you to all those that shared a link last week. I know there was a couple of issues last week but they’ve been fixed thanks to my new IT guru so this week will run much more smoothly. For those that are new I’ve created a weekly Beauty & Fashion Blogger Linkup Party so that we can all discover some new, amazing blogs and share the love. This is perfect for beauty and fashion lovers to share their interests or discover something new.
If you are a lover of a dark fake tan that has a gorgeous smell then you’ll be interested in today’s blog post which is all about Skinny Tan Mousse. Skinny Tan Mousse is a cruelty free tan which is made from naturally sourced ingredients including seeds, coconut and Guarana. I’ve been trying this out the Skinny Tan Body Mousse and Mitt for about a month now and I think it’s a product you’ll all love to hear about.
My Lust Have It subscription arrived yesterday and I absolutely love the contents this month. It includes a couple of products I’ve been excited to try for ages.
This year is absolutely flying already so much so that I feel like I haven’t been posting as much as I should be since Christmas. This week I’m completely back on track with lots of good stuff planned so watch this space!
My favourite posts to read are the posts that have a high end product and a great ‘drugstore’ or affordable alternative. I thought I’d share with you two of my all time favourite pressed powders today. One is a high end Estee Lauder product and the other is Rimmel.
I’m a huge fan of L’Oreal products. They’re on the higher end of the affordable brand spectrum with high quality foundations, eye shadows and lipsticks. They’ve actually had some great offers on recently so I managed to pick up a few that have been on my list to try including the Infalible foundation that I reviewed this week and these L’Oreal Color Riche lipsticks.
These lipsticks were brought out in celebration of their 30 years on the market. There’s a wide range of colours and a couple of different finishes which I think is a great thing to have in a lipstick collection. I got a matte finish in shade 640 and a cream finish in shade 335.
As the seasons begin to change I start to think of buying a few new pieces that I’d like to add to my wardrobe. This is a collection of items currently on my wishlist that are perfect for warm days and colder days with the addition of a few extra layers.
It’s coming to the end of summer but it’s not all doom and gloom because of come up with a list of 10 things to do before the start of April. I love Melbourne so much and since I’ve moved here from Ireland I’ve gone to many events here that have been so much fun a lot have been free or reasonably priced! This is a must read for those not originally from Melbourne looking to experience something new!
If like me and you’re a lover of lipsticks and a lover of MAC lipsticks then you‘ll want to keep reading. I’ve found a colour dupe for one of my favourite MAC lipsticks that I’m sure you’ll love too!
