This year is absolutely flying already so much so that I feel like I haven’t been posting as much as I should be since Christmas. This week I’m completely back on track with lots of good stuff planned so watch this space!
I’m a huge fan of L’Oreal products. They’re on the higher end of the affordable brand spectrum with high quality foundations, eye shadows and lipsticks. They’ve actually had some great offers on recently so I managed to pick up a few that have been on my list to try including the Infalible foundation that I reviewed this week and these L’Oreal Color Riche lipsticks.
These lipsticks were brought out in celebration of their 30 years on the market. There’s a wide range of colours and a couple of different finishes which I think is a great thing to have in a lipstick collection. I got a matte finish in shade 640 and a cream finish in shade 335.
A couple of months ago my boyfriend bought me one of the Kiehls skincare packs. He did very well because he bought me the hydration pack which would be the pack most suited to my skin type! Skincare is a little funny to review because I think you need to give the product a good go before you can actually tell if it’s changing your skin for the better. I’ve been trying these out for almost three months now and can safely say there’s two in the pack that are worth investing in and one I won’t be repurchasing.
As you’ve probably guessed by now I am completely obsessed with lipsticks. I don’t think I’ll ever have too many. My favourite affordable brand for lipstick has to be Maybelline. I’ve so many of Maybelline in my collection and most of these are the Color Sensational so today I’m going to tell you why and swatch some of my faves.
This Christmas I was completely spoiled with the amount of palettes I got as presents. I got so many that have been on my wishlist for ages and I’m still feeling like a very lucky girl with the friends I’ve made here in Australia. One of the amazing palettes I got was an Hourglass Modernist eyshadow palettes and the I got the shade ‘Exposure’. This palette is absolutely stunning for many reasons so keep reading for review, swatches and eyeshodow looks I’ve created!
If you’re new to my blog, I post a recipe every Friday. It’s usually something healthy and gluten free so if you’re interested in checking out my other recipes click here.
I love finding new and healthier ways of making my favourite dishes and Risotto is definitely one of mine. It’s a comfort food for me because it’s filling and creamy. I’m gluten intolerant so if I’m looking for creamy pasta, this is the next best thing.
Today I’ve a review and some say he’s of the the Revlon Colorburst lipsticks. These lipsticks have a huge colour selection and the even have different finishes. I love matte lipsticks so I naturally gravitated towards these. Here’s what I thought.
I got my Summer edition of The Parcel subscription and I have to tell you about it because it was amazing this season! I paid $25 for the box and the value of what’s inside is so much higher. Here’s a look at what I got.
As soon as this product came out I was dying to get my hands on both this and the matte tan. They weren’t out in Australia and I don’t believe they are yet still but you can order then from Cloud 10 beauty which is exactly what I did. Today I’m just going to talk about the shimmer because this is the one I’ve tried out the most! Keep reading for more info and pictures.
Since getting The Balms Mary Lou Manizer I’ve been dying to try more of their products because that highlight certainly lived up to all the hype! The next The Balm product I bought was Meet Matt(e) Hughes and I was delighted to get the shade commuted especially since it’s always selling out. I’m Obsessed with liquid lipsticks and this one didn’t disappoint.
