The NYX Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade is one of my favourite budget buys of 2016. It’s perfect for those that love a sculpted or HD brow and don’t want to fork out on the more expensive ones because there’s really no need. Even if you’re unsure if you like using this sort of product on your brows it’s only 7.50 in Boots so you won’t feel bad if it doesn’t work for you. I’ve loved using this brow gel when I want a defined brow.
‘Give extra life to your brows with our easy-to-use brow pomade that glides onto skin and hair. Our smudge-proof waterproof formula comes in five shades to coax brows into prime shape. Stand up to humidity in style!’
The NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade comes in a range of colours ranging from blonde to brown to black. I love that there’s varying tones within the shades so if you’re more ashy or red toned there’s going to be one to suit everyone. The good thing is that there’s brown shades that don’t have red tones like some brands only do. I got the shade Espresso which is a dark brown.
The NYX Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade comes in a little screw off jar and I use a thin angled brush and a spooly brush to get a natural application. I usually start by outling the bottom, feathering the product through in light wispy motions and then finish by brushing through with a spooly.
The NYX Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade is really easy to work with and feather through. It’s a good consistency in that it’s neither too thick or thin. It applies evenly and stays put throughout the day. Here’s a very close up picture to see how I filled in the brow.
If sculpted or HD brows are your thing then you’ll definitely like the NYX Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade. This little pot has lasted me ages.
I picked mine up in Boots for 7.75. Bargain!
